ELE Program for staff

Attain CPA licensure

Get one step closer to meeting the 150-credit hour requirement with the ELE Program.

The ELE Program was built on the foundation that cost and access to education should not be barriers to entry to attain CPA licensure. Once you’ve been accepted into the program, you’ll be able to earn up to 30 credit hours through online courses while working.

Typically, ELE participants take one or two courses persemester (equivalent to three to six credit hours), but you can take more thanthat if you and your employer are comfortable with the heightened workload.

Eligibility requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree (at least 120 hours) and the core accounting classes required for licensure at fewer than 150 credit hours.
  2. Full time employment
  3. Complete the ELE Program application by the application deadline per semester:
  1. Spring term: Jan. 1
  2. Summer term: May 1
  3. Fall term: Aug. 1

The ELE Program is offered over 15-week semesters during the spring, summer, and fall terms. Shorter term lengths for some courses are offered during the summer semester.
