Get one step closer to meeting the 150-credit hour requirement with the ELE Program.
The ELE Program was built on the foundation that cost and access to education should not be barriers to entry to attain CPA licensure.
Once you’ve been accepted into the program, you’ll be able to earn up to 30 credit hours through online courses while working.
The ELE program is offered via Tulane University’s School of Professional Advancement (SoPA). SoPA has a long history of offering flexible education opportunities to individuals to working adults. Courses offered as part of the ELE program are generally asynchronous and focus on skills and knowledge that early career professionals need.
Typically, ELE participants take one or two courses per semester (equivalent to three to six credit hours), but you can take more than that if you and your employer are comfortable with the heightened workload.
Eligibility requirements:
The ELE Program is offered over 15-week semesters during the spring, summer, and fall terms. Shorter-term lengths for some courses are offered during the summer semester.
Currently the tuition rates is $150 per credit hour, not inclusive of textbooks or required course materials and/or nominal fees assessed by Tulane, which can vary depending on the course chosen. For more information on the academic experience at Tulane and to apply for the ELE program, click here.
